Teflon Lined Fittings are metallic (usually carbon steel or stainless steel) piping fittings with a lining of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), more generally referred to as Teflon. These fittings are used for carrying very aggressive or reactive chemicals and provide outstanding chemical resistance, non-stick behavior, and thermal stability. The Teflon lining is used to isolate the metal from aggressive fluids to ensure longer lifespan, lower maintenance, and clean flow without contamination, making them suitable for employment in hostile industrial environments.
