PTFE Lined Reducer is a pipe fitting that is intended to join two pipes of varying diameters and shield the internal surface against corrosive and reactive fluids. The fitting consists of a metal body (typically carbon or stainless steel) with a tough inner lining of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene). The lining provides chemical resistance, prevents the product from becoming contaminated, and improves service life. PTFE lined reducers find wide application in systems where aggressive chemicals, acids, or high-purity fluids are being transferred under changing flow conditions.
